With two sandy beaches one on each lake.  Sitting across from the famous Big Red lighthouse and watching all the beautiful boats go by is a relaxing afternoon for sure. Concession / Store

Beachplace cafe offers a basic concession stand menu, however they do have a few healthy options that include Gluten free buns, veggie burgers and no sugar added fruit smoothies.  You can also get hand dipped famous and locally made Hudsonville Ice cream.  If you are Vegan and dairy free they have a few options for you as well.

Store carries your essential beach supplies so if you forgot sunscreen or tanning lotion, towels, chairs, toys, skimboards and clothes they have you covered.  You can also rent or buy Volleyball equipment here.  If you are looking to find souvenirs to commemorate your wonderful vacation you are in luck they have that as well.  They also carry some camping supplies. So whether you are hungry, thirsty or in need of a beach or camping supply they might have just what you need.

Ottawa Beach General Store If you feel like talking a ½ mile stroll down the Black Lake Boardwalk you will find the Ottawa Beach General Store. This store has been around since the late 1930’s and has maintained the same charm ever since. Here you can find all the things a typical general store offers. It’s a great place to get an Ice cream, a morning cup of Coffee and Donut and good lunch options like a hot dog for a fresh made sandwich.

Dune Dogz located right across from the General Store. They have a large menu full of gourmet hot dog combinations, tasty fried delicacies, seafood and ice cream.  I’m a sucker for the hand dipped corn dog they refer to as The Dune Dog.
